| Common Questions |
Will I understand the message even if I don't know much about the Bible? Our messages are prepared to connect with people's lives by using the ageless wisdom of the Bible. The services are designed to be easily understood by individuals checking out what it really means to have a personal relationship with Jesus as well as those who have been committed Christ-followers for many years. We hope you'll find our services to be very helpful in your personal spiritual growth.

What if I come from a different faith background? While CBC is a non-denominational Bible church, people who attend come from a wide variety of faith backgrounds—Catholic, Lutheran, etc. Together, we focus on biblical truth and teachings, and pursuing an active relationship with Jesus Christ. You don't have to be a member of a specific religious denomination to do that.
|
Do I have to dress up? At CBC you'll see lots of people in business casual, khakis or jeans and not so many in suits and dresses. You're welcome to dress casually, and come as you are.
|
How do people at CBC express worship? "Worship" involves communication with God from our hearts. We believe in a variety of different expressions in worshiping God. On the stage, you might see worship leaders clapping or raising their hands while they sing and the musicians play various instruments. As a CBC attendee, you are welcome to worship God in a way you feel expresses your heart toward Him. For some, that's quietly reflecting on the words and, for others, that's clapping and singing out.

What different music styles are available? Community Bible Church offers various music styles. Our worship teams lead us in a blend of upbeat songs of praise, intimate songs of worship, and hymns.
|
Is there something for the kids? Community Bible Church has wonderful programming for your entire family available during both Sunday services. While parents are participating in the service, kids can have fun and learn about God at their level. For more information, ask any greeter at the door, or visit the Welcome Center in the Lobby.
|
Are you going to hit me up for money? As part of our worship, people give back a portion of their incomes as an offering. You are welcome to participate, but don't feel any pressure to give. This is an act of worship for our regular attendees allowing them to thank God for all of the great work He is doing in their lives. It also gives Community Bible Church the means to reach more people for Christ in the future.

What if I'm not even sure I believe in God? If you haven't made a decision to accept Christ but would like to know more about it, you're a seeker. That's a good thing. That means you're asking questions about spiritual things and how they might relate to your life. You are welcome to explore answers to your questions here. If you would like to speak with someone about your questions, please contact us. In addition, we occasionally offer a special study where you can find out more about living a life devoted to Jesus Christ.

How do I get involved? Attending Sunday services is a great start, but we hope you'll move beyond being just part of our Sunday crowd. You can further your faith, meet people and learn more about life as a Christ-follower by joining one of our many Adult Bible Fellowships (ABFs). Click here to find an ABF that would best suit you.
