Five ways to describe yourself: Crazy, honest, sensitive, loyal and compassionate.

What you cherish: It sounds corny, but I really cherish my mother. She never gave up on me—loved me when I was difficult to love; stood up to me when I needed to be brought down a couple pegs; lifted me up in prayer (for YEARS) when I couldn’t do it for myself. She is an amazing example of how I think God intends for us to treat each other.

What I dislike: Negativity—it is useless!

What I love: Of course my family! Hiking with my kids, fishing with my husband, anything outside, eating, cleaning, watching a good movie, water gardening, creative writing, taking pictures, and last but not least, watching the way God is working in my family. It is just amazing, and I am so thankful for it everyday!

What makes you cry: Everything! Commercials, movies, poems, weddings, graduations, and when I can feel the presence of the Holy Spirit. It makes me cry, but it’s a good cry when that happens.

What is your greatest fear: Falling away from my relationship with God. However I have found that surrounding myself with people who value that same relationship, prayer, reading the Word, and being protective of that relationship the same way I would protect my children is the best way to keep that from happening. Although that is a fear of mine, I know that if I follow this, then I don’t really have anything to worry about.
